Priority Learning Outcomes

Bridge prepares young adults with developmental disabilities for life after high school in the following areas: 

Daily Living

Skills in cooking, nutrition, cleaning, and hygiene, along with time and money management for various life settings, are essential for independent living.

Employability

Executive function skills (planning, execution, completion), time management, and building healthy workplace relationships are key professional skills.

Functional Academics

Learning practical life skills such as money management, reading comprehension for everyday tasks, and basic writing for communication and independence.

Social-Emotional

Integration of functional communication skills and emotional regulation skills at home and in the community.

Community Connections

Understanding community resources, transportation, and leisure activities promotes healthy lifestyles, strong relationships, and community engagement.
